About 2BEngineering

Why 2BE

Maddy founded the company on the principles of sharing what it means "to be" a team player. Too often, design and construction teams are polarized or pointing fingers, and she felt a need to bring empathy to the engineering space.

It just so happens that the 2 "Bs" in the company name are also the first initials of two dogs that have profoundly influenced Maddy's life - Bosco and Bubba. Bosco taught her that not all dogs learn the same way. Therefore, she always tries to meet people where they are and realizes that we are all unique. Bubba taught her that she can't do everything on her own. Although his story ends tragically, his spirit will live on through 2BE.

How 2BE

Client success is our success. From initial client interactions to coordination meetings, construction management, and close-out, we are devoted to seeing your project to swift completion. Our clients include the entire team — building owners, facilities personnel, engineers, and contractors — and we are truly better when we work together.

Our internal vision is no different — 2BE provides a safe space where coworkers are able to learn from one another and become experts in the industry. With an abundance of knowledge to share with the community, we welcome and encourage diversity among our team and clientele.

“There are people you come across who have the “it” factor. Not only do they have great qualities, but they get the most and best out of those around them. Maddy is the ultimate example of that. Your project starts at an advantage and is in good hands when she’s taking the lead.”
